I work as a Property Damage Appraiser, mainly writing automotive currently but in the process of getting trained to write damage claims on houses.

-Quartz instead of granite-Vinyl plank flooring over carpet-Stained concrete in main living areas/1st floors-5/8 drywall over 1/2 drywallIn addition to these changes I'm looking at keeping costs reasonable so I'm not looking at building iron fortresses!

The way I see it there are two main options...1.

How high is the flood plain above existing grade or main floor? 

I've tried reaching out to some training institutions but their prices are outrageous (companies mainly pay for training).

Hi Upen,The main reason would be that i have no idea when i will act on anything.

Small apartments, duplexes, Tris, Quads in the NC & SC area are my main area of interest (although most of my experience comes from commercial rentals).
