I joined BP a few years ago with an eye toward this move I knew we'd have to make eventually, but only now that we're in the midst am I looking, in earnest, for any advice or experience that other real estate investors can share to help us find the best path to a successful transition.Having done an initial search for property management companies in the small town we're moving from, my husband was disappointed.

Let me say thanks in advance to you who will read this discussion and participate and for those who will never read this discussion but have helped tremendously with their questions answers and insights in other discussions that ive consumed in a large clip for months before even joining BP as a member. 

I recently joined CCIM in Austin so maybe we'll cross paths at one of the functions.  

However, with the long slower season after 4/15 I am excited to devote more of my time to research, networking, and educating, while hunting for new investments.My Goal this year is to close on another single family rental either in the Northern CA area or in the Las Vegas area.I joined BP after listening to a few podcasts and diving into the forums.I am psyched to be here and looking forward to the steep learning curve that comes with every new endeavor!

@Aaron Deane There are two local REIAs I would recommend joining online.

I would also suggest joining a local REIA group and meeting investor-friendly realtors.
