Edit: home is heated by gas furnace.After 2 months of research & asking around, we will hire a trusted friend with 20 years of handyman/flooring experience to do the works (everything from Remove Carpet, redo underlayment floor, install new flooring).

@Andrey Y.You may even be able to install a Ring Central app on your Korean based smartphone so you could get calls anytime, and not just in your barracks room on WiFi like I mentioned before.

Did a lot of possibly unnecessary work in the basement because of this and ended up taking out a lot of upgraded items prior to moving (keypad entry, installed heater, garbage disposal, etc)2) free or discounted labor doesn't work on your time frame.3) go into everything with an exit strategy.
