I know it may come out to the same amount of material costs since it is averaged about $3 sqft in my area, but I would assume labor would be much cheaper since it is installed similar to the way laminate flooring would be.On another note, should this be a material I consider when I start to build my portfolio of rental properties?

@Fernando Ramirez you need to ask the city what is required for all approvals and time frame, if you have to install curb, gutter, sidewalks, street signs, street lighting, any specific street design requirements, DOT requirements or permits, DWQ requirements or permits, permit fees, proffers, water/sewer tap fees and process, bonding requirements, inspections and CO process.

I asked to see the work order/invoice for the purposed install, any other notes from the visit and also asked if that install would alleviate the airflow concern, she stated "i'm not sure that is something they can guarantee."

Here is the response I got:"My Director has authorized a $20.00 refund toward the service call.I know you feel that we (MPM) should have prevented the issue, but here is what I think happened; I verified the gas service was on and the new stove was properly installed and functioning PRIOR to the tenant signing the lease and moving in.
