Recently there were some maintenance issues that required they vacate the premises and stay in a hotel.

I've filed a insurance claim and have sent my tenants texts, emails and certified letter that the house is potentially unsafe and they need to vacate the property until I can get repairs done.

Because this is an enjoyable activity for me it does not affect my health.

I use these on my vacation rental and personal home.

What if they break-up and the primary tenant decides to leave, does it mean that the sub-tenant must vacate as well?

Recently just got back from a weeks long vacation where my family and I made a trip to Waco, TX for a couple days to visit the Chip and Joanna’s Silos (wife loves them of course!)

Went through a conventional lender where we could put down 10% as a 2nd home/vacation.

Both of these are extremes in the spectrum.While it may seem logical that we can raise rates due to “inflation”, that same inflation is affecting the average consumer’s spending power, which could have a significant impact on whether (s)he takes a vacation, which will reduce overall demand for anything travel-related, including vacation rentals.

If no, I was thinking about bargaining with tenant and asking them to vamoosh for a week in exchange for a much nicer deck area for them to enjoy.
