I also started to call around to look for a home inspector, landscaper, real estate attorney, and general contractor.

Make sure you account for all expenses (STR taxes and registration, utilities, landscaping, wifi, furnishings, consumables, marketing, your time, etc.).

It is important to find a good realtor in your own farm area that has in-depth knowledge of the local landscape and also has connections with a trusted local GC (general contractor).

I don’t see things like pest, landscaping, reserves etc…

For a short while I was tempted to drop it all in the stock market, but considering the existing landscape I don’t feel that’s the best option.
