You can work 5 days a week under an accounting firm, while learning and reading a lot, engaging on networking events by realtors during the weekend, then slowly join and inquire on the process of becoming an investor or a realtor through a real estate company, work you way out while still maintaining your accounting career.In the end, if you are able to maintain both opportunities, you might find yourself getting more options in the future to nourish yourself professionally in other industries.

Also a realtor told me its illegal to profit off of people by stepping them through the loan mod process, I think perhaps thats just for realtors though...I got someone whos done dozens of these home mods if any of you are concerned, I say this because I know theres always someone who will jump on you lol...If theres no regulation, how would I charge for the service?

Hi Curtis,My realtor has me subscribed on an alert on the MLS for a specific zipcode in MoCo, so the moment any property in that vicinity comes on the market, I receive an automatic email.

By contrast I can get in touch with a Realtor in my farm area in Pennsylvania and ask for a list of MLS properties $25k or less that rent for at least $500 and she'd ask me to be more specific.There it isn't that hard to find listed properties that still can hit 3%.Fyi these are mostly B/C level areas and there really aren't any war zones even if you wanted to go to the worst part of town to milk a tiny bit more cashflow out of a place.
