First someone new will be living with you and that requires adjustments.Second it's not just someone, but rather it's your in-laws which can bring stress to any marriage good and bad.Third your introducing a money factor into a highly personal relationships. 

Obviously that person does not have your best interest at heart. 

I was wondering how you have filled your W9 if you have a single member LLC (which is considered a disregarded entity) and ensure payments go to your LLC and not your personal name? 

However, I've only heard of one person getting shut down, likely because they were not running it well and the tenants complained to the city. 

Given this new law it concerns me as a buyer and I want to know if agent fees can be written off whether through a personal deal or through an LLC.

Hey folks, so this morning one of my colleagues posted (from another person) some reasons why sec 8 can be very difficult.

Couple things to check for:- Check to see if the applicant's name, address and personal contact info matches across all information you receive like credit check and ID to make sure you are dealing with who they say they are.- Have a set of rental criteria you are looking for and compare against that criteria, like minimum ratio of income to rent, minimum credit score, etc.

Set a goal, work backwards, and create a realistic strategy based on your personal abilities.An aggressive investment strategy can get you free from your 9-5 in about 3-5 years.

I don't use really personal cards for anything anymore.

I personally invest here for both the cash flow and appreciation.
