There's possibly a hotel involved which may be another entity.

Typically they are smaller locations with larger events going to hotels, glof clubs, etc.Recently, as in the last 30 days, a brand spanking new warehouse was finished in Irvine, CA where the primary business is hosting events.The exterior is attractive, and the interior I'm told, my wife peeked inside, is nice too.

Those items like kayak, paddle board, BBQ grill, lawn furniture, floor mounted pull up exercise bar, stationary bike...stuff like that which the tenants are free to take advantage of but it is not part of what the rent includes.I think hotels do that when they say they have "complimentary newspaper service, complimentary WIFI". 

Its like a hotel, but better because you have lots more space and a kitchen.

We do start the conference at a hotel on land first for 1.5 days before getting on the ship, so the cost includes 2 nights in the hotel and that conference space.  

As far as STR's: I recently went to an agent-only panel held by my brokerage with representatives from our Metro Codes office and I will say that at the moment STR's are being pushed out of residential neighborhoods by the hotel industry.

Somewhere in the forums here, within the last 9 months, someone posted a video link to a video where a young man was working hard as a bus boy and cleaning out the kitchen at a restaurant (or hotel).

He called and filed a claim with his insurance and the rep. suggests that he may move out to a hotel with $3000 limit in spending.
