The reason for that is that when that job is done, that tool/machine/vehicle can sit on the shelf or in the parking lot or in the warehouse and cost very little to just sit there waiting for the next job.  

The reason that wouldnt bother me is that he still has a strong credit score despite those collections.I would be more concerned about tax liens; unpaid mortgages; vehicle or personal loans; defaulting on revolving credit loans.Get more details about the eviction.

If not, it's not an asset vehicle I would consider at this point in my life...

While you can invest in pools of real estate represented by financial contracts or other instruments, such vehicles can fluctuate in price rather quickly depending on market conditions.

With vehicles there it doesn't really seem like squatters but who knows.  

We have had 2 duplexes and 2 SFRs under residential insurance with specific additional riders to risks for our area.Umbrella PolicyUmbrella policies are the cheapest vehicle for limiting liability I have yet to find.

I've had better ideas..I swear.I am here to learn about investing in general, as there are investment vehicles I am sure I don't even know of at this time, but wholesaling seems to be the most appealing as it would increase my negotiating, direct mail, and networking skills...all of which would help any future real estate investing plans.I look forward to learning from the community and helping others whenever my knowledge allows.

From my reading, a lot of reading, I think I have determined that a SDIRA is not the vehicle I should use.

I should also say that I sold my house and a vehicle during this time which I am told also contributed to the lower FICO score. 

I took my vehicle back and took the loss myself.
