Hello BP Nation,

Although I have been hovering on the website for a few months this would be my first real introduction.

I am a military veteran who recently moved back to Des Moines, Iowa after being away for the last 15 years. After the service I received my Bachelors degree in Public Administration and City Management, but with the downturn in the economy cities weren't on a hiring spree so I ended up paying the bills via the oilfields of North Dakota.

My first attempt at investing was a blind, headfirst dive into house flipping...in Arizona...in 2008. I've had better ideas..I swear.

I am here to learn about investing in general, as there are investment vehicles I am sure I don't even know of at this time, but wholesaling seems to be the most appealing as it would increase my negotiating, direct mail, and networking skills...all of which would help any future real estate investing plans.

I look forward to learning from the community and helping others whenever my knowledge allows.
