When I finish my military career, I'm building my plan to own a multifamily home (quad hopefully) and start to build wealth through passive income, appreciation, cash flow, and equity.

I think its a good area to build a real estate career and it has plenty of varying classes and types of properties to build a nice diversified portfolio.

I used to work in construction and physical security, and changed careers in 2012 so now I'm a software/web developer (BS Computer Science).

Financial independence is my main motivation for this career shift, as well as the potential regret of looking back on my life and wishing I had taken more risks, met more people, and given myself the opportunity to seize the life I had dreamed for myself growing up.

There are limits to how much you can borrow, how often, and when (seasoning requirements) but many of us in BP have done this very thing at one point or another in our career(s).
