It appears logical not to sell the primary residence once it's fully paid off, considering the associated taxes and fees.

This trend is increasingly relevant in today's MF market, posing challenges for operators with fixed debt who are looking to sell their syndicated assets and have high performing assets but now the comps crush the ability to liquidate. 

Some people say multi families are harder to sell than single family houses because the buyer pool isn’t as big but I keep my properties in tip top condition and I just don’t see that as being an issue.

So, we are considering whether it would be better to forge ahead with building a home as soon as possible on this piece of property we already own, and then either selling it immediately after construction or living in it for 2 years and then selling.
