Hello BiggerPockets Community,I am a new investor looking to start my real estate journey in the DC metro area.

I'm a contractor and have worked in commercial contracting for 20 years and know what it takes to get jobs started and finished.

I joined my local landlord association, started building contacts and connections that ultimately made this venture a success.

I have some equity in my home but I’m just not sure where to start. 

Should we start with forming a Multiple Owner LLC and then create a nonprofit?

That brings me to my next point: The area you should start investing in depends very much on what your investi g goal is, so: Define your goal.
