We respectfully let her go because we felt uncomfortable without representation by a neutral third party who could evaluate the deal without prejudice.We decided to just start over and let that deal go, starting fresh with a new listing agent.

And with all due respect to @Stephanie Irto, buying ANY investment property is not a "retail" purchase. 

There's an enormous amount of information there.As I mentioned above, Mass Housing and FHA are the two best programs for low down payment at 3% and 3.5% respectively.

I have never actually terminated any of my roommates' leases, but I have been lucky with respectful tenants.

I generally agree with your posts and respect your advice/opinion, but the CA bashing is uncalled for.

My biggest concern about my house hack will be finding good tenants and having people who can respect my home as it is theirs.

We have all types of tenants and we treat them with respect.
