Id like to get this resolved. 

The HVAC team can open the kitchen floor and resolve the issue, but this will cost me a few hundreds of dollars.My question is: can I make the seller pay for this since the issue was clearly caused by him?

We as buyers just remained patient and waited out all the issues and they arose and resolved on almost weekly basis lol.

(hopefully it just a programming glitch) but, if this does not get resolved...

I haven't called him back yet, but will, to try and find out more.....BUT, the first would seem the biggest stumbling block.I did a lot of negotiations in a prior life, including as a settlement conference judge and mediator, and was pretty successful in getting people to recognize the financial disadvantages of not resolving their disputes instead of going forward (in those days, to jury trials), but the lawyer for this lender seems uninterested. 

Curious to know how things like that would be resolved.

Speaking to the supervisor was a suggestion our code enforcement officer had made himself, and I see it as an amiable way to discuss and resolve the issue. 

We have regularly scheduled meetings with all of the sellers we work with, during which time we discuss any challenges our clients are having and attempt to do what we can to assist in constructively resolving them, and that has certainly included yours.

We are looking to network with other investors in the DFW area as we both have expertise in loss mitigation and can assist with mortgage lender negotiation short sales so if you have any difficult short sales files in Texas, lets network and get them resolved !!!
