@Andraise Scott: Do you loose the deposit if you are not able to close the deal?

We just were informed by a broker that they are NOT able to find/ offer us a fixed rate product (less than 10 days prior to closing on our next property). 

I have a day job so I'm not able to focus as much time as I would like with lead generation and what not.

There are investors that tried to buy the building and some of the parking to do this but were not able to agree with the owners or board of directors ‘large, international, so on and so forth’.They might be willing to do something with the building, but are not willing to give up any of their parking.As far as I can tell the first floor could be made in to underground parking, leaving 5 floors left to live on.I’m brain storming on this one, but instead of buying the building, just to ask for the ‘Right of use’ of the building?

For me, it helped to start a giant wiki (wordpress) with very broad general categories.

As you can see in my profile, I'm from Milwaukee, which is just 80 miles north of Chicago and the way things have been slowly growing over the years, the two metro areas seem to be morhping into one giant metropolis.

Worst case scenario though, I am not able to cash out after I finish the basement, and have another renter move in, and my ROI on that investment based on my numbers is about 1.5 years.

I'm not able to invest close to home anywhere within 4hours driving minimum due to the enflated prices this oil boom has done.

You know, the amazing elongated bowl, giant valve... the one that is like $350??
