The fact is, it does NOT matter what you pay for money in many instances.

For instance, my student rentals are advertised, shown, and leases signed in January, with the leases beginning in May and running through April.

(Towns can get aggressive & lots of people just pay the fees instead of pushing back.)In this instance, we could have been proactive in calling the town ahead of time.

I know cash flow is king and it kind of messes with your head when your barely breaking even or even in the negative on a property but If your a buy and hold who has 20 to 30 years in the game like I do, who really wins in the end the cashflow team or the appreciation team. 

I am headed out to meet an OFC potential lead today.

@Suzanne Lord if you are renting a room in your house sure this would be reasonable but in some states it might not even be legal to ask in that instance. 

What is true, is that they present the information in such a way that has made me turn my head into real estate and understand that there is a way to make this possible in my environment.
