We own several rental homes in the 2700+ sq ft range and sometimes the damage the tenants do takes a crew of 5 workers 10 days to clean, costs $8,000 to $12,000 and makes me hate tenants, but once I get started with the painting and cleaning I realize the damage is inevitable when renting, a part of doing business and I don't get emotional.
