As a matter of fact a lot of hosts in our area speak very negatively of Airbnb.  

There is BP event hosted Every 2nd Saturday in Vienna, Va.

In my experience, short term (airbnb) guests take better care of the units, mainly because they get reviewed by the hosts. 

Are you planning to be an active or passive host, e.g., greet your guests or give them private access? 

I host a meetup at Wood N Tap in Rocky Hill, CT on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. 7pm.

The other hosts do a phenomenal job though too.

This is causing quite a stir among the longer term hosts who rent out extra rooms within their homes and feel their safety is being compromised.Our AirBnB propety is actually on our farm but in a separate building, so we are OK with Instant Booking.
