@Eric FicheraThe total amount of student loans doesn't really matter that compared to their monthly payment; it is the monthly loan payment that will impact your total DTI. 

As for Sacramento metro, there have definitely been more canceled listings and listings put on hold than normal; however, in general there hasn't been much impact to price.
