THE PROBLEM is that is was trashed by tenant,we had to evict, cops know about him, menace,tenant stole appliances, punched holes in the wall,smoked drugs, potential buyer did a Meth test and it failed,invoice says $12K in repairs PLUS appliances, damage, etc.WHAT would you do?

We got the property rented for April 1, 2022 and sent her the security deposit disposition which showed she had a balance after covering the one month rent, one month to re-lease the property and an amount related to damages that occurred due to tenants neglect.We received a letter back a few days later from the Connecticut Fair Housing Center, informing us that we needed to return the entire security deposit back to the tenant.

It's generally not an adjustment and worthy of only a comment.Intrinsic values are certianly not market values, agreed, in RE financing and investing at the scope of properties discussed on this site, we speak in terms of market values, if we were in court and assessing damages to be awarded then value becomes relevant to a degree.
