Use Zillow to search, their filter features should help you identify inventory levels for the type of asset you are looking for. 

You'll ideally want to either break even or cash flow, so deal analysis will be crucial.

@Tyler D'Alessandro I am a realtor and also an investor in my two cents would be decide what type of property and community do you want to live in as far as features and amenities.
