I personally would not consider her job prospects as low paying but she is not going to get rich either, ha ha ha.

Considering materials alone are going to cost close to $100 a sq, thats without sheeting, and dump costs are through the roof now, not sure how these guys are getting "rich" let alone making any money.

Ideally I want a duplex but I am also open to a single family home.So far I've read Rich Dad Poor Dad, listened to many BP podcasts and I am inspired and can't wait to "pull the trigger" the most intense three words for me right now!

Again, to anyone looking into the realm of real estate investing as a newbie, I caution against an "overnight riches" outlook.

This is a similar situation to Rich Weese's first investment, a duplex He's a successful BP member who has written a book about his experiences.

It was my time, and I wasn't going to get rich selling $100 memberships to newbies.

So we're treating this as a challenge, getting the down payment else where (this is along the lines of Rich dad poor dads theory of not using your own money).

I'm simply suggesting that investing in multiple buckets of the same asset class is not true diversification and its certainly not what the uber rich invest in.
