Personally, I would cash out 50% of the equity in my existing homes and look at buying a larger, cash-flowing apartment complex in the midwest.

It will be big when you pick up a few 100 unit apt complexes with multi million dollar price tags.

The proposed cat is fixed so it's not that extreme, but I don't want to let it in if it's going to ruin the most beautiful feature of the apartment the first time it gets a urinary stone.

And we HAVE seen a lot of appreciation—but prices plummeted in 2008, so things have been appreciating from the bottom of a deep well, and some condo complexes still haven’t climbed back to pre-2008 levels.

I have found a few pieces of land I like and I plan on building and developing a piece of land for a small apartment complex.
