Im more interested in creative financing and am currently looking to build a team (title company, real estate investor agents, attorneys, etc).

Is hiring a property management company the only way out, or are there other ways to manage these responsibilities effectively without it consuming my thoughts?

Multiple, billion dollar companies are investing substantial amounts of money into our area, such as Intel, Google, and Amazon.

I could try taking up managing MTR myself but this company has relationships with renters and insurance companies that I assume bring higher rents than I can get myself with Furnished Finder.

Can be a challenge to find a Title Company or Closing Attorney that is familiar or willing to do a SubTo transaction.

Hi there, not sure if this is the right forum, but I'm interested in starting a real state service business on the side (I have a full time job and rental properties), and recently came across a carpet/ flooring cleaning company in Austin TX that is in the market for sale, the owner started this business a few months ago and ran that for 3-4 months, the demand was solid for the start (revenue around $20k/month with one truck/van), he wanted to expand but got into family emergency issues and now he's selling the business, there are no financial statements as he says he's basically selling the assets (van, machines etc.).

If I had known up front how our exchanges would be billed I might have drafted the PA myself and done some of the title groundwork myself (he was just a middle man on that - he and title company found same info I found and had access to). 

My company is well staffed now but when we were starting out I frequently hosted many properties while traveling. 

In the time I do have, I'm interested in supplementing my primary job income by creating a rental real estate company (becoming a landlord for a few properties).

He did not open an account with the Gas company, so we don't know how the account was open with his information.The rental property is manage through a property management company.
