Hello! I currently own 2 properties (CA & TX), looking to get into BRRRR & STR's

In the midst of leaving my family business and selling the majority of my equity to launch into the RE world. Bought my primary residence in 2019 and been practicing the BRRRR method (more or less, currently in the process of turning it into a short term rental here in the Santa Cruz, CA area. Equity position has 3x'd over the last 3 years with improvements I have made and growing market). Purchased a new construction outside of San Antonio in 2023 (currently set up as Long Term Rental).

Next move-planning to purchase another property in CA for a BRRRR, then travel the country and figure out my next move. Interested in BRRRR strategy in CA or potentially Ohio. Open to STR as well. Trying to figure it out! Looking to connect and grow my network and learn from others.

Hey Shane, I think Ohio is a great option to consider. Columbus in particular has a lot of potential for appreciation gains. Multiple, billion dollar companies are investing substantial amounts of money into our area, such as Intel, Google, and Amazon. Which in turn will bring plenty of other investors and general business into the market.
