In today's booming economy with wages and jobs at an all time high, with houses not even staying on the market for 4 days, someone has to be in a seriously messed up financial situation to not come up with the money to pay their taxes on their houses especially in florida where most of the taxes are relatively cheap compared to the rest of the USA.

Banks simply cant do what they were doing in in 2007, which is why I disagree.I actually think the economy in my market will continue to grow and housing, especially mid-priced rentals, will continue to boom

Of course, I'm biased, but as we head into another recession, Self-Storage has proven to be the most Recession Resistant, as well as the best performing asset class during boom times.   

I actually have a huge "in" to my local county as I am a software engineer for the tax collector/auditor/assessor.  

I am fine leaving her items on the curb for the trash collectors.  

I know she has collectors after her for medical bills.

The boom/bust cycle of CA powder skiing was the one thing giving me pause.  

One of the things that my area faces is boom and bust cycles. 

In attempting to help the seller, who is out of state, I went to the tax collectors office to find out what needs to be done to redeem the taxes.
