I love real estate and I think that investment is a wonderful money making opportunity but you shouldn't have to choose one or the other.

It would not have to be anything wonderful, just enough for three people to live in.

The chimneys need to be cleaned ASAP and I was wondering if there were any tips on doing it ourselves.

He's bought probably 10 houses from us this year.I am also wondering, if you are not figuring repair estimates on the property when you are looking at the deal, then how do you know if its a good deal or not?

Hello everyone my name is Will and I would like to say that I really like this forum and thank you for helping people who are just starting out or are thinking about starting like me.Well, not long ago I was in a dilemma between taking Animation or Real Estate, well that is no more for I have decided to go for REI, I am a full-time legal clerk I work for my parents managing their immigration business here in LA despite the love* I get from older employees/co-workers I manage and everything is under control.Now what I was wondering is how can you get started in REI since I work full-time and I can’t leave my job cause if I do there will be no one to watch out for the business, thing is I want to see how much you would need to start investing after learning the process that is, if say I had $5,000 or even $10,000 in hard cash which I know is not much, but is there any way and I mean any way one could start investing with that kind of money off the bat?

I was sitting at my desk one day (at a job I wasnt overly fond of) and began writing out my goals, I don’t remember all of the details but I do remember the major themes of the goals.Goal #1 Own a Harley before I was 30 years oldGoal #2 Have at least $30,000 in the bank before I was 30Goal #3 Make at least $100,000 a year by the time I was 30Goal #4 Own at least 5 investment properties before I was 30Goal #5 Have a fun car by the time I was 30I think I must have been about 29 years old and was working on cleaning out my basement when I discovered my old book of goals.

If anyone is wondering, the areas in question are the M-streets/East Dallas and nicer areas of Oak Cliff.

I realize that many people won't be interested in this topic (we didn't sell any real estate :D), but I thought some of you might have wondered where I've been.
