Do you want it to be in a "B-" neighborhood or a "C-" neighborhood?

Either way, I have owned a condo in Calgary AB and that worked out well but for several reasons.

That gives you a VERY good idea as to where to find A,B C,D and F neighborhoods.

I actually just spoke to an agent who is working with investors to do exactly this in the Bronx; the Bronx is close to me and the $ involved is doable: 180-250k for an apartment or SFH in a B- neighborhood.
