When handling over 30 different banks, being highly organized is vital.  

I'll take Yen, Pesos, Kroon, Pound, Birr, Euros, Francs, Rubles, Gold, Bitcoin ... as long as it translates to USD at the closing table.

This is kind of common sense, but it provides a common interest for them and you because now they have a bigger loss on their hands by losing your trust.Not to mention, friends/partners in the area can be vital here.
