We added a half bath on the main floor as there was none and we also expanded the upstairs full bath and updated it.

You can call the Clerk of Court or Sheriff's office (depending on who conducted the sale) and get an update from them. 

Condo FeesThe unit has old appliances and has never been updated. 

Agent B also said she wanted to set me up with searches and such (MLS) so I can get automatic updates on properties that meet my criteria.

Eventually I reached a supervisor who said they would look into it and would call me back with updates.

I also would caution that $1000 a year for maintenance may be low when roofs up here get 20 years of service so really you should budget $600/yr for the roof alone not to mention water heaters, furnace, A/C units, appliances, flooring, paint, updating kitchens etc.

(That 59% does not include a majority of students, as most students do not update their address to B/CS.) 

Roof might last 5 more years, it’s actually a 1 BR 1B home in the front that is livable just needs updated, and an efficiency building in the back that will need a few grand to become livable. 3.

The house needs some serious repairs ie; new furnace and hvac work, new window, kitchen cabinets, and just a complete update as it hasnt been lived in in almost 16 years.
