As far as I can tell, the warranty companies are pretty similar to each other, but I use Best Home Warranty because they are less expensive than AHS and their call-out charge is a bit lower, too.However, the warranty companies don't cut you much of a break for multiple units, so you're paying nearly the same price per unit as you would for a single-family home.

.- "Income" includes all gross receipts generated by the property ($1,000 pm)- "Expenses" could then include mortgage and running costs ($800 pm) in addition to a $200 "management" expense (or similar) to Joe.- In effect, Mike's net Tax obligation would be zero (until the property was sold), and Joe would get an income of $200 per month.

The HOA can making renting very difficult.But don't you think there can be advantageous such as low maintenance and possibly better quality tenants when comparing a house at similar value?

However, down the street from my current house is a similar house that was put up for auction by a private firm only to be taken off the block days before the auction took place, at least, according to the auction firm.
