More often, I find notes in DFW from hedge funds who have bought large pools but they are often on properties less then $125K in value or less.

They were forging docs (not signing their stuff properly) and the way they pooled and sold off some (massive amounts) of the loans wasn't legal so they could be trying to get a clear title.

Another option would be potentially assigning some parking lot spaces as designated car pool spots which might get you a 5 spots for each carpool spot type of allowance.

If they offer a pool, gym, laundry facilities, utilities, etc you need to be priced much lower.

In Oregon the courts say you have to be able to follow the chain of title so when they used robo signing, and packaged the loans into pools, and then sliced and diced them in different areas they can't be easily traced.
