I was scheduled to close on a refinance loan now but my lender told me I have to physically attend the closing and even the Power of Attorney won't help (going to a local American consulate/embassy also won't help) .What legal and creative solution can you suggest?

If you are going on vacation bring your cell phone, no one needs to worry about physical location, you can call anyone from wherever you have service.
