If you want to continue trying to clean them, get a professional carpet cleaner and have them treat it with enzymes or something designed specifically for pet odors.

Hey all,I am in the process of buying a triplex to househack and am inheriting 2 tenants that have pets in clear violation of the lease.

We asked our tenants to move out due to multiple lease violations (main ones were smoking and pets, where the lease prohibits both), and the floors are left with multiple cigarette burns (both hardwoods and linoleum), the bathroom sink has permanent cigarette (joint?)

Lease agreement allowed for 2 dogs with a non refundable pet fee.
