We did lose it, however, for a  few years when my kids were teenagers and too many cars were totaled (4 in 2 years), so had to up the liability on all policies separately during that time, but we couldn't get it from anyone else then, either.   

People tend to want to live near family if they have kids.

Hi There Everyone, I bought a rental property when my kids were born and now my oldest is going to college next year. 

I also would prefer not to rent (but will if I have to) because I have 5 kids and I don't want to move them twice. 

When it’s done right, you can casually manage your properties from a distance if you decide to travel, and when dealing with one software platform or portal, it’s kind of like having 6 kids or 8 kids....after the first couple, you don’t really even notice when another one shows up.

They have just moved out and the house is being cleaned for the next round of college kids.

@Trevor Ewen If I could relocate I would move to Miami :) But my wife has a government job in NYC and my family and kids schools and friends are here.
