ok i may be bringing up an old post but im having a similar situation and i was wondering what everyone think of it. i do understand education is important and if i can, i'd rather stick to it. but hear my story out:im currently a 3rd year in college and i started out wanting to be a doctor so my major is science. a few months ago, i was introduced to the world of investing (stocks, real estate, etc) and after reading a lot of rich dad books and many stock books i have come to a realization. i want financial freedom. i want to work for myself and escape the rat race. to do so, i was gonna change my major to business to learn all the neccessary skills i need in building up my future business company and learning as much as i can about finance and economics. sadly, it's too late for me to switch major which brings me to my current problem.Why am i spending lots and lots of hours a week studying science when i won't even be using it?

Offer more math and science classes so that it doesn't take 4 years to transfer from a 2 year program to a university, and more classes in universities so that it doesn't take 6 years to finish a 4 yr. program.

They will then simply track your gf's income and where it goes, a 2k paycheck is simple to account, what cards they paid, what's left in bank, and if there's an extra 3k on the bills paid, then it wont be rocket science for anyone to guess where it comes from.The thing is simple, either it is legal or not, what you think is irrelevant, it is not other types of illegal activities where you are innocent until proven guilty, once fraud is imposed, you are guilty until proven innocent.

As long as an area has good universities and infrastructure, there is a shot at re-tooling into a modern economy.

I think you provided lots of good perspective on modern ways to reach people, but again don't discount some very effective old-school methods. 

I also spent my spare time teaching myself HTML5 game development. 2013-2014 (Austin, TX): I returned to college to finish my Computer Science degree.

Interestingly, those who work more on new construction might be most familiar with the most modern energy saving methods.
