Going off of what everyone else is saying in here, i would start to attend some local meetups, expos, and networking events.

Indy is very inconsistent so it's important to have a local agent or a really clear understanding of where you are buying.

Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards and even local stores like Ace are one stop shops and what you might spend in terms of a little more, you regain in terms of time saved and the ability to sign up for Pro accounts. 

I'm curious what investing looks like in Arkansas and if there are any local investment Realtors that can shed light on the situation around here.I live at home so my expenses are quite low while I figure this out, which is good. 

Start a local "lose weight" club for a monthly fee. 

As a real estate agent your broker or your local real estate association would be ablr to give you a referral or two...

You should probably do some diligence locally/with people in the area, rather than relying on some site on the internets...
