They usually have websites where you can monitor how much inventory they have and what they are charging for rent.I keep tabs that way in my town and right now we are at multi-decade low vacancies.

Do a search for it on google.Search the website for answers and don't be afraid to ask questions!

I have real estate agent contacts that check the proverbial fly traps daily (realtytrac, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Chase bank websites, Zillow, Craigslist, etc.

For a 2 bedroom house, the HUD website says they will pay almost $1,000/month!

Granted I know nothing about website building and don't plan to learn so there an appreciable level of convenience that I know I would enjoy but outside of that should I say thanks but no thanks a go a little cheaper website building route.

You can go to that countys tax assessor website to look up real estate taxes.
