This vast wasteland, full of tech billionaires, beach babes, great tacos, and year round 70 degree weather, is just a horrible place to live. 

This may sound harsh, but are you sure your personal disposition is cut out to be a landlord?

@Scott F. people on BP can get kind of harsh, especially when you start talking about welcome gifts or tenant rewards.

The perfect weather and beautiful outdoors that California has to offer would be hard to leave.

Those “covered perils” usually consists of severe weather, natural disasters and vandalism.

I truly believe these trump allegations and investigation (weather true or not) are going to cause investors to loose confidence in the economy and Trumps ability to execute his tax reform plans.

Maintenance costs are low,  mileage tolerable.If you are going to self manage you need to be able to haul material and not have it exposed to the weather.

I like a lot of the advice here is for your best interest so don't take anything too harshly. 

Florida Keys is not a bad choice, though the weather there is not always spoiled, but overall I liked it.

Tampa or Orlando, possibly ft lauderdale.Further north than Orlando is less than optimal swimming weather in January.
