I like the gold hardware, too!

I suspect there is going to be some pain though for those as others have said are basically pay check to pay check.think about your auto pays don't go through it can lead to a big chain reaction.. those who don't have checking accounts not so much.check cashing places and money order stores will see big decline. 

Now I’m like a gold fish.

If your guys have big gold chains on then tell them to be smart.

If this area has new businesses popping up ....especially chain stores like Starbucks as they do lots of research on areas.....

Maybe put 10% into Gold bullion (not stocks) and 70% into Real estate and keep 20% as cash on hand.  

I have a couple of how to books (Plumbing, and Electric) that i've had a loooong time and were worth their weight in gold.

They also have a lot less set of rules to follow than the bigger, "Chain" banks.
