We don’t know if it was originally a single or double but it looks like it was originally a single.

Its a 6 unit building with 3 beds and 1.5 bathrooms per unit. 

@Surya Ghatty the rental market is on fire right now but I would double check with the HOA that rentals are allowed. 

My initial concern was that I didn't want them to get double "penalized" on taxes.

So smaller units seem to be fine.  1-2 beds are great, as opposed to as many beds as you can get when you're shooting for a short term rental
