Some people don't like scary darkness though.... 

It is low income, it has more crime and graffiti, it has drug houses and activity, has a high proportion of pitbulls, and I don't feel safe there alone after dark.  

Brown/Red or Dark Brown?

For example, the treated lumber our Home Depot carries is a dark brown (look carefully at one of the beams in my photo).

Until then, I have nothing to go on.This is the first time I've even been interested in a foreclosure so dealing with a dark building a completely new to me.

I am currently rewiring a duplex I just bought and wanted some feedback on this:I'm putting smoke detectors in each unit, should they all be connected?

My first thought was to keep light oak in and bring oak into living room. 2nd thought was to title in kitchen and use a dark laminate floor in living room.

I find that if you allow smoking outside - they WILL smoke out their window.

You have a different approach, you might even smoke me in the appreciation game.
