Should I buy furniture so that they have a bed/bunkbed and dresser in their room ?

We're into creating generational wealth by having solid income producing assets to pass down to our children.  

They wash their small children and their pets in there, wash rugs, soak delicates, all kinds of things.

It would be hard to to tell someone who is barely home and basically only sleeps at there place to share a portion of electric or gas bill with someone with young children constantly home and cooking baths etc.
