- Are there areas that would work well as a mid-term or short-term rental in addition to long-term?

My wife and I bought our first house 4 years ago using the VA loan and I’d specifically like to learn how to finance a rental property using little or no money of my own.

Investment Info:
Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $110,000

Cash invested: $1,369

Acquired this deal from another agent, off-market. I asked for a $5,000 concession...

It's been the pursuit of mom & pop investors that got priced out of Raleigh, and they're propping up the rental market with no support from the industry demand, population growth, or anything in between.

The rental demands in that pocket are great and down the road from Bricktown. 

I would like to start in syndication or short term rental deals.

As of this year my rentals are getting 90% Airbnb and very small number from VRBO, hardly anything from Booking.com.  

I get that.If your not actually in the industry doing transactional bizz every day then I think its very lonely being a rental property investor you have a very limited sphere your working with  IE maybe an agent to acquire and then lender some contractors then either PM or tenants.

Asset research, acquisition, management, repairs, note restructuring, servicing, rental/leasing, and disposition as applicable.

I explained that she should’ve let me know and I would have had any needed cleaning done but inquired as to what was wrong as it had been professionally cleaned and we have not had any complaints from tenants or short term rental guests.
