Am I taking this to literal when I think that people get these properties under contract and then find the funds to purchase after?

It could be anything from helping them cleanout a new property (literal work such as removing old items, landscaping, cleaning, etc.), assisting them in finding deals (this includes helping them in their deal funnel), running errands, etc.
