This scenario sounds good when I write it down but scares me to buy at what seems like the top of the market right now.  

I know it sounds like that is the thing to do but why do the bank favor when you can reinvest that needed money into more real estate!

I would retain the communication where he told you that you would lose your security, because THAT is not legal and sounds like a threat to me.

I would like to know the cost for slab or perimeter foundation.I got a 50k quote from someone on phone  for slab , which sounds too high for a 800 sq ft single story. on a flat piece of land

. $800 a month sounds fine to me.

The main thing is the effect on a percentage number when a vacancy occurs. 

Because everything else is directly effected by it.
