I live in southern NH, I've been in construction most of my life, the last fifteen years in heavy highway construction as a sales/estimator.I love to restore things, houses cars boats etc..

Here are a couple of things to consider along with the break even and total saving over the life of the loan. 1.

I've been renting all of my adult life.

Being around apartments my entire life, and being in the trenches as an owner/manager, gives me a unique way of working with buyers and sellers.

Oh- Also, I tried putting off the closing date for this property until July, however, since it is a short sale at the end of its life, the bank states it will go into foreclosure if we don't close before the end of June.

Getting into a large project, nothing is small and the losses can be life changing, but so can the gains!     

I always loved my sister growing up, and saying that I can say the largest mistake I ever made in my life was purchasing my house with my sister when I was young.

On just 3 blocks :)  when life gives you lemons, right?
