When I was buying properties I was traveling with my job to a location that I couldn't even have a cell phone at, and minimal internet access, and I did fine.

They can usually give you the inside scoop on the area and things you may not be able to learn through the internet.

Theres isn't much of the "internet trolling" phenomenon in the forums because people have a different level of respect for BiggerPockets and the culture here.

Ask Google how much you're saving, stop wasting people's time, the internet is useful for more then just porn, it's great for research.For me personally, I do a quick search of all my clients.

I found out about biggerpockets.com simply through internet research.

Why aren't there just standalone, totally private facilities?

You definitely know far more about this than I do at this stage and have relationships I would have to develop and I'm wondering what kind of return there is on this type of investment.I'm an experienced Internet marketer so I've always figured purchasing under-performing apartment complexes and then fixing and marketing them for higher occupancy would increase the value of the complex - so at that point I could sell it or just hold it for the cash flow.
